 How to make double-color plastic products?

 There are the two ways to make double color plastic products. One is using double-color injection to single-step injection, the other is over molding by 2-step injection.

The single-step double injection has high requirements for double-color molds precision and molds structure, but though this process will get more precise double color products with high quality, the products will avoid flash, easy to control shrinkage, to make the perfect products. What’s more, the cycle time is shorter.



It’s a conventional way to make two-color products by over molding 2-step injection, which is made by two single-color injection molds and single-color injection machine. The workers need to take second injection machine for second molds. It will need more lobar expense and spend more time to produce. Meanwhile, it’s difficult to control the shrinkage and products quality.
