  CLASSIFICATION OF MOULD

[Use points]:

A [Plastic mould] Plastic mould: used to manufacture plastic products. Such as: 3C products [3C: Computer (Computer), Communication (Communication), consumer electronics: (Consumer Electrics)] Automotive and motorcycle structural parts, interior parts, commodity, children's toys, PVC pipe fitting for construction, handles of various tools, precision instrument parts, etc.

B [Pressing die] die (Pressed tooling): used to manufacture metal sheet metal, cutting and cutting of sheet materials, etc. Such as: Computers and other types of chassis, cabinets, stainless steel kitchenware, connector terminals, copper sheets for connectors, circuit board cutouts, sheet metal forming, etc.

C [die casting mold] Die casting (alloy mould): mainly used for casting aluminum alloy, zinc alloy, magnesium alloy, etc. Such as notebook shells, automobile and motorcycle engines, speakers, valve body accessories, etc.

D [Compression mould]: mainly used to produce rubber, silicone rubber products, such as various waterproof rings, decoration Parts, cushions, pads, mobile phone keys, etc.

E [Blow molding] blow mold: mainly used to produce plastic hollow container products, such as various beverage bottles, plastic feeding pots, cosmetic boxes, shampoo bottles, inflatable toys, plastic packaging, etc.

F [extrusion mould] extrusion mould: mainly various profiles, such as aluminum alloy doors and windows for construction, wire duct, etc.

G [semiconductor mold] semiconductor mold: mainly produces various diodes, tertiary tubes and other electronic and electrical components.

H [FRP mould] (SMC / BMC) Phenolic mould

Mold output mainly refers to: the maximum number of products that can be produced during the service life of the mold

According to the US [SPI-SPE] standard, it can be divided into the following categories:
1. Class 101 model. (Long-term precision production of molds, the output is 1,000,000shots or above)
2. Class 102 model. (No more than 1,000,000 shots, mass production of molds)
3. the 103 model. (Less than 500,000shots, mass production mold)
4. 104 types of models. (Less than 100,000shots, a small amount of mold)
5. 105 types of models. (Less than 500shots, hand-made model or test model)

B. prototype mould

It is generally used for the production of products in the development stage. The general output is very low, which is equivalent to 105 types of molds. The dimensional accuracy is not high, and it is mostly used for the testing of products under design.
